About this course
We are all aware of the recent ransomware attacks on the HSE. The disruption it caused. The demand for the payment of an enormous ransom. The financial cost of rectifying the complete IT system. You probably thought “Thank goodness that did not happen to my business”. The reality however is that it could happen, unless you take steps to reduce the chances of it happening.
This course is designed to train your employees in the best of classs cyber security practices. It is based on Irish law.
The course will improve your online safety in the context of the wider world, introducing concepts like malware, trojan virus, network security, cryptography, identity theft, and risk management.
The course does not assume any prior knowledge of computer security and can be enjoyed by anyone interested in improving the security of their digital information, whether at home or at work.
The course is delivered online. Employees can participate via their smart phone,tablet or computer.
